The Weider Club SideKick Bench and Dumbbells lookss good and pretty much that’s it, unless you are a beginner don’t read further, the Weider Club Sidekick setup won’t really matter to you.
What will call your attention and delight in the usage of the Weider Club Sidekick will probably be the weight system composed of 2 Switch Plate 50 pounds hand weights, or dumbbells if you like to call them that. The stand of the weights is adjustable and the weights are easy to change with a knob system that with each click will increase or decrease the weight for your exercises.
Weider Club Sidekick Specifications
- Weights- Adjustable 50 pounds dumbbells
- Bench- Flat, incline and decline Olympic bench
- Dimensions- 48’’ length x 51.6’’ width x 44.4’’ height
- Dumbbells weight Limit- 100 pounds
- Max weight limit- 300 pounds
Convenient and fully adjustable
Guess why Weider calls this bench the Sidekick… because of the weight stand. It can be fully adjustable in and out, or up and down, while the weights are easy to change without taking them out of the stands. It can save some time and keep you seated the while you workout.
The bench is a flat incline decline type, a multi position backrest with sewn vinyl that will give you all the comfort you need during long workout sessions and different workout positions. The side arms will make you feel a bit enclosed and claustrophobic when doing some exercises that require a bit more space.
The max weight limit of 300 pounds means that with the max weight of 100 pounds, a user is limited to 200 pounds. So before you buy the Weider Club SideKick Bench and Dumbbells you should look if there are better options for this kind of weight limitations.
And there are better options and less expensive ones. The price tag on the Weider Club Sidekick is a bit over reasonable for what it has to offer and considering the options of other brands. You may find yourself paying more just because of the easy to change weight mechanism on the dumbbells.
Weider Club Sidekick at a Glance…
Pros:
- The side arms are comfortable to use
- Good for beginners
- Comfortable multi position bench
Cons:
- Expensive for a bench and weights
- Too narrow for bigger users
- Not for experienced users
It is a convenient and fully adjustable weight bench that you may find it easy or not to use. The price is a bit over the edge and there are other options in the market that will give you the same options of workouts and exercises that the Weider Club Sidekick does.
