Gold’s Gym Power Flex Home Gym Review

The Gold’s Gym Power Flex at first sight doesn’t look like much, and it wouldn’t believe how much exercise you can do with it. First thing about this Home gym is that it won’t take much space in the house and still give you a wide choice of 65 exercises.

It uses a Power Stroke resistance, which is much safer than free weights for someone training alone in the house, and it does not clutter the whole space with weights around the floor. It works just like our muscles, with bands that elongate and contract to create resistance. It isn’t the most effective system used in home gyms, but it does give you up to 410 pounds of resistance.

Gold’s Gym Power Flex Specifications

  • Exercises- 65
  • Dimensions- 4’6’’ long x 3’ wide x 6’10’’ tall
  • Weight- 226 pounds

Simple and easy to use

One thing that will call the attention of many buyers is that fact that the Power Flex uses Gold’s Gym patented Space Saver design technology allowing it to be folded easily and save lots of space. Besides saving space, it can save you some money, since it does have all the basics covered when it comes to a home gym at an affordable price.

The adjustments on the Gold’s Gym Power Flex can be easily done through a single lever, changing the resistance to increase the effectiveness of the workouts in any of the 65 exercises that the Gold’s Gym Power Flex has available for you. As optional it has a rowing option to add cardio workouts to the 9 stations available. It comes with a hip strap, rowing seat, ankle strap and a workout poster.

So you can go from strength training, through muscle toning and cardio training, all in one machine that can sit nicely into the corner of your house. But everything isn’t great about the Gold’s Gym Power Flex, the close proximity of the cables and pulleys to the seat will make it hard to do some exercises like chest flys.

The Gold’s Gym Power Flex is great for beginners and users that won’t be expecting a first class home gym and you wouldn’t, considering the price you pay for it. But it can do the same as some machines in a gym and will keep you busy and working out in the house if you can’t or won’t go to the gym.

Golds Gym Power Tower Review

Gold’s Gym Power Tower is a combination of 4 workout stations: pull up, dip, knee up and push up stations, all in one simple and versatile power tower. It works much like a traditional chin and dip assist station in your local gym, with the added power bands that increase 80 pounds resistance, to assist you in your efforts or resists you workout, depending on the exercises.

It doesn’t look like much, but it can take a user of 300 pounds on it, as far as Gold’s Gym says it does. It is sturdy and comfortable, and wide enough for big users. The chin up and dip stations are great, these are the best strength exercises that you can find in any home gym equipment.
