The instruction manual on how to assemble this machine needs work. There’s no surprise in this aspect. All the machines I’ve tried have problems with the set up. Once this has been done though, you will see that the Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym has an almost health club quality to it.  The construction, smooth operation and durable finish makes one feel it is not just any ordinary home gym equipment.

At the beginning of this review, I mentioned how several people can use the machine at the same time. This can be done because there are different stations that two people can use separately. There is the upper pulley that is comprised of the Lat Pull Down, the Cable Crossover, the Ab Crunch, the Tricep Extension and the Tricep Pressdown. For the lower puller, you can make use of the Deltoid Raise, the Seated Row, the Shrug, the Bent-over Row, the Standing Curl and the Leg Adduction. Did I mention there’s also the Chest press and the Pectoral Fly/Rear Delt station?
Because there are two 210-pound weight stacks, the upper and lower pulley can be used separately. You might just run into a little problem though because some exercises mean you have to remove a pulley to put in cables specific to some exercises. This is a slight inconvenience you can live with.

When I used this product, I understand how the product was engineered with precision and top ergonomic features. There is lumbar support provided by DuraFirm pads. Everything feels solid and natural when used.

BodyCraft has prided itself in providing a quality product that is ideal for the budget conscious. If you go through the specs, you will see that a lot of energy has been put into making sure the product can withstand the wear and tear that comes with the territory. If you are looking at assembling the product yourself, you might run into a bit of a problem. It took me some time to orient myself with all the available parts before I could start assembling the gym. To be fair, the reason for this is due more to the number of parts available than to instruction manual itself. The directions page could use a little updating but overall it was OK. Make sure that you have someone help you out. This needs two people to complete the task.
Once set up, I saw that the equipment is similar to that available at major health clubs. This basically means that the product is suitable for people from all work out levels. Good for an entry level home gym

The Hoist v1 Home Gym is built to stand the test of time. It has good quality and keeps many of the features that are included in other more expensive home gyms from Hoist. Even so, the price tag isn’t for anyone that just wants to buy a home gym and is a heavy investment; you have to pay for the quality you get.

The seat and back pad can be adjusted and provide quick and easy to change exercise positions to accommodate users with different body sizes. The multi-function roller pad ensures correct exercise body positions for both leg extension and standing leg curl exercises. Also the standing leg curl allows you to exercise independently each side.

The press arms were also designed to allow changes in position that can be done fast and easily, changing the start position for different users to their beginning stretch positions. This Home gym was designed to give comfort to all users and tries to accommodate everyone that tries to use. Great if you want your whole family to use it and get in shape.

The FreeMotion S75 Strength Training Machine has the hyped Digital Target Zone Coach, what this little thing does is to lead you through exercises and sets of exercises while talking to you and counting your repetitions as you do them. This is a good idea for beginners, but for anyone that knows his way around a gym, this will be an annoying feature and not attractive if you are not into this king of gadgets.

The good things are the 200 pounds weight stack and 9 stations. If you are a beginner you will be asking for the Coach, if you are not then you will be pleased with all the options that this home gym can deliver. Most of the stations you can find them in any other home gym configurations.

The whole package is solid and versatile, delivering everything that you can expect from a home gym at this price range. There isn’t anything you will go wow about, not unless the Target Zone Coach is the thing for you. The rest is pretty standard and much like other models out there. Overall it is a good choice, if you like it.
