Like other home gym equipments out there, the Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym provides a service that’s basically the same. On this machine, you get to exercise different muscle groups for overall fitness. I’m sure you’ve heard the other home gym machine providers offer and say the same thing. If that’s the case then why is there a need for a review on the Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym? Well, this machine deserves a second look because it offers something not a lot of home gym machines out there provide, the chance for several people to make use of the product at once.

Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym Specifications

Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym: Review

The instruction manual on how to assemble this machine needs work. There’s no surprise in this aspect. All the machines I’ve tried have problems with the set up. Once this has been done though, you will see that the Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym has an almost health club quality to it.  The construction, smooth operation and durable finish makes one feel it is not just any ordinary home gym equipment.

Body Solid EXM2500S Home Gym ImageAt the beginning of this review, I mentioned how several people can use the machine at the same time. This can be done because there are different stations that two people can use separately. There is the upper pulley that is comprised of the Lat Pull Down, the Cable Crossover, the Ab Crunch, the Tricep Extension and the Tricep Pressdown. For the lower puller, you can make use of the Deltoid Raise, the Seated Row, the Shrug, the Bent-over Row, the Standing Curl and the Leg Adduction. Did I mention there’s also the Chest press and the Pectoral Fly/Rear Delt station?
Because there are two 210-pound weight stacks, the upper and lower pulley can be used separately. You might just run into a little problem though because some exercises mean you have to remove a pulley to put in cables specific to some exercises. This is a slight inconvenience you can live with.

When I used this product, I understand how the product was engineered with precision and top ergonomic features. There is lumbar support provided by DuraFirm pads. Everything feels solid and natural when used.

This machine is solid. If you want a product that can withstand the wear and tear of use from several people, this one’s for you.

Affordable with a total body workout program

The PR on the name of this home gym comes from Power Rods, and that is the main attraction in the Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym. They are manufactured with a high tech composite that is so strong that you can try to flex them as much as you want and it won’t even wear them out.

You will be surprised on how well the Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym performs for your exercises. The assembly is fairly easy, but you will need the help of a friend around to do it. And while exercising it is very easy to switch between exercises without much hassle on changing cables with the no change cable pulley system. It stays way ahead of any free weight machine, while giving you the safety of not having to change weights or carry them around.

BowflexPR3000HomeGym

The 210 pound resistance may not seem too much for the above average enthusiasts of strength exercises, but you can go up to 410 pounds, and that is really challenging for anyone.

The Bowflex PR3000 does take some room space, counting with extra room for leg space while exercising the legs. But it does look nice and it will fit nicely into any house.

And if the resistance isn’t that challenging then you may want to try out the multiple cable pulley positions that the design of the Bowflex PR3000 allows while increasing the effectiveness of your exercises, focusing the workout efforts on some muscle areas and sculpting your body for a perfect image.

Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym at a Glance…

Pros:

  1. Great design and the Power Rods
  2. Easy to increase resistance
  3. Wide range of exercises, no need to change cables
