The Xtreme 2 also lets you change exercises more quickly and easily with no cable changes needed between exercises.

It also includes now an ab crunch shoulder harness and a seat that was ergonomically designed for added comfort. So you can expect more exercises, no cable changes and you can customize your workouts to your own size.

Lifelike feeling of free weights

The Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE is placed in between the entry level Home Gyms and high end Home Gyms from Bowflex and combines the best of both worlds. It adds some features to the entry level gyms and is more affordable than the high end, without compromising on the quality of the components and the exercises.

Bowflex says that the Xtreme 2 SE has what they call a Space and Time Saving Design. Yes it saves on the space, it has lots of features and even so it is small compared to other Home Gym designs that are more bulky. And it saves time from the fact that there are no cable changes as you exercise, so it is much easier to change exercises.

The resistance is provided by Power Rods, it starts as standard for 210 pounds but you can go up to 310 pounds if you like. These Power Rods are also very quiet and smooth, plus they have a lifelike feeling of free weights. They look good on the design of the machine but they are also efficient and great to work with.

If you are looking for a great multi gym to have in your house, one that doesn’t take too much space and has a great pack of features, then the Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE is the best choice for you. If you can afford this one, but can’t go beyond to the high end gyms of Bowflex, then you will be well served and in good shape in less than 6 weeks.
